S- “Joe!” J- He looks over to where he heard the enthustiastic scream and finds a beautiful girl running up to him, his sister. S- Selena hugs him tight. “I can’t believe it’s really you. I thought you were gone for good.” J- “I guess Im back.” S- Selena smiles, “Im just glad you changed your mind and decided to live here with us.” J- Joe sighs. That was the last thing he wanted to hear. Live with his dad? No way. “Im not sure what dad’s been telling you, but Im only here for a few months Then it’s back to being on my own.” S- “Oh.” J- Joe could see her disappointment. But he didn’t have time to deal with guilt. “Where’s dad?” S- “At work.” J- “What no welcome home son? Why am I not suprised.” That’s why Joe’s mother left him. He cared more about work than his family. Now that she’s dead he thinks he can step in and be the father he never was. Selena might have bought it but not Joe. J- He throws his cigarette into the dirt and steps on it. “So what’s fun to do …
