lingerie laundry bag|Can I wash cloth cat toys in the laundry with bleach?

Women’s Casual Clothing.
Question–: Can I wash cloth cat toys in the laundry with bleach?
Well, I already did….and I’m wondering if I shouldn’t have done it, so I haven’t given the toys back to them yet. I put them in a lingerie bag in a load of laundry with some powder color-safe bleach, they came out nice and clean – but should I not have washed them in bleach? I don’t think it would be harmful for them (I wash the floors with diluted bleach and they walk on them, I wash clothes in bleach and they touch them…) but I just want to be sure before I give them the toys back, for peace of mind icon smile lingerie laundry bag|Can I wash cloth cat toys in the laundry with bleach? I wouldn’t but that is just my opinion. I wouldn’t wash the floors with any amount of bleach either. More and more studies show that toxic cleaners are linked to cancer. Let me know if you like, and I can recommend some cleaners that I use.

Put them in an additional rinse cycle and they should be fine.

Answer by Sam
As long as they are rinsed well, I really don’t think it will hurt. To be on the safe side, why don’t you run them through a rinse cycle.

Answer by CF_
yes it is safe

I worked at a shelter and we washed bedding and toys this way..

also note you should use PERFUME free detergent.. the perfumes can cause lung cancer in pets.

Hi!

Bleach on the floors is more dangerous to your cats than washing toys. The toys go through a wash cycle (usually more than one depending on how long the cylcle is) and then a rinse cycle. If you really don’t are concerned and won’t give the toys back to your cat, when you do laundry again put them in when it rinses or soak them in the sink or bucket then put them in the rinse cycle.

I have washed my cat blankets (I have 3) and even used fabric soften with no ill efftect. Good Luck in whatever you decide to do. I have fostered close to 50 kittens (weeks old) and their mothers… and bleach has not hurt any of them.

Q&A–: garment/laundry bags?
in what part of a store do you find these? e.g., walmart….i looked in the lingerie/underwear section and in the laundry detergent section. where can i find these laundry bags?? the bags i’m talking about are the ones you put pantyhose in, or bras (so they don’t snag your other laundry). they zip. my mother-in-law bought us the cheap ones from the dollar store and the zipper opened during the cycle, dumping everything that was inside. i need a good one. where can i find them???

You can get them at Target, which I think has better quality than Wal-Mart. They would be in with the ironing boards and clothes hampers.

Answer by got_to_love_lingerie
Laundry bags at Wal-Mart are over by the ironing boards, clothes baskets and hangers.
