Q&A: Performance makeup advice?

i am currently in a school musical and recently i was told that we will wear fairly thick makeup for our performances. also we will wear a sheet over our face but a light enough one to see heavy makeup through, so i could get a bit sweaty!
I’m just wondering if you have any advice that would help stop my face from breaking out due to this.

well i was on a Dance Team and we were required to wear MAC Makeup so that the audience was able to see it. this never broke me out. however if you wear it all the time and you dont wash your face when you get home from your performance then you might. always wash it off and never sleep in it. MAC is awesome and is Made for the Stage. Thats what there Makeup is for and thats why it all bright and it stays on well, sweat wont take it off. So i recommend MAC go and get some awesome colors.
