Q&A: lingerie laundry bag|Has anyone tried the Bra Baby to wash bras?

Question–: Has anyone tried the Bra Baby to wash bras?
I have always washed my bras on delicate in a lingerie bag but I am moving and will have to use coin up laundry machines. I’m worried about my expensive bras getting ruined and I saw the Bra Baby at Bed Bath and Beyond. Has anyone tried it?

And I know this is a stupid question, but how exactly do you hand wash a bra??

Thanks!

hand washing sounds like the idea… you don’t want them in the coin up laundry machines for sure…. believe or not but someone will steal them…..

hand wash in the sink with just water and laundry soap… rinse real good and hang dry….. pretty simple…..

Q&A–: laundry question?
if a piece of clothes, for example stockings and panties and bras say to hand wash is it okay to put them in one of those lingerie bags and put them on a gentle cycle in the wash?

you can wash on gentle cycle the panties and bras but yes put your stockings in a bag so they dont get tangled up with other items. Also wash in cold or teppid water. Never in hot

It should be fine to put the stockings in a bag to wash but with bras washing them out of the bag is what I have found to be best. A word of advice though, I wouldn’t put them in the dryer because they will wear out quicker, stretch out and lose it’s supporrt compacity. I used to wonder why I went through so many bras and finally talked to someone at Victoria’s Secret and she said never put them in the dryer. And with panties, they would be completly fine in one of those bags or seperate but watch out on what kind of panty (example thong) might get caught up around the aggitator (thing that spins the clothes in the center of the washer). Oh yes and definatley gentle cycle them.

yes.

Yes. I have a handwash cycle on my dryer. The most important thing is NOT to put them in the drier. It will kill them. Hang them to dry.

Yes. Those lingerie bags are a real time saver.

Answer by lennie
Yes I use that bag for all my delicates It works great. Even if you did’nt have a bag. you could still put the panties and bras in the wash, the stockings no because they get all tangled around the other clothes. close the bras when you do it that way, because they too get hooked onto other clothes.
