haha you’re worrying too much! just be yourself!
fashion, start shopping where the trendy clothes are. in middle school, i started shopping at abercrombie, hollister, and american eagle, but i didn’t exactly fit in ae yet haha
you could start wearing some eyeliner, as i did in 6th, but i didn’t really know what i was doing and it looked a bit sloppy haha middle school is everyone’s awkward phase! just take the time to try out new things to discover what you like and what works for you :]

I’m in high school, so I know how it is going through all this. haha
locker tips:
write down your combination in a binder/planner/whatever you carry with you and don’t lose it. If you do lose it, don’t sweat it. Just head to the office and tell the secretary there that you can’t get into your locker. If you have a school where you must bring your own lock, practice the few days before school starts opening the lock.
homework tips:
have a planner that you can write down all your assignments in. It helps a TON! That way, you wont forget assignments. If you need help with homework, don’t be afraid to ASK. You can ask a teacher, a parent, or a friend who is in the same class if they understand the material.
social tips:
Don’t stick to one specific group. Meet new friends and start conversations with people you usually wouldn’t. However, don’t forget about your old friends!
makeup tips:
keep it low key. no one, not even high schoolers, need to go to school with clown makeup on. stick with a gloss, eye shadow, and mascara. i wouldnt use much eye liner. it makes getting ready way quicker in the morning. (: however, if you really want the full make up look, go with a brown eyeliner. It’s less dramatic for school.
fashion advice:
in middle school, i loved classic jeans and graphic tees. I wear a lot of skinny jeans and cardigans now. (those are always comfortable.) Just be sure to buy clothes that follow your school’s dress code rules. Its way embarrassing to be sent to the office for breaking the dress code. (been there, done that.) haha.
okay, i hope that helped! (: Good luck with starting middle school.

I won’t mince words. Middle School sucks.Yes, It can be fun at times, but still, face it, your not quite a teen, not quite a kid, your body is changing left and right, your friends and you are drifting apart (sometimes) and There will be more homework, more requirements, and more mean teachers than ever! But with this advice, you can make the most of your middle school.
On the first day, choose an outfit that is weather appropriate, yet fits your personality and is flattering. Make sure it follows your schools dress code
Make a good impression on the teachers. Participate in class
write your combination on your hand or carry it in your pocket to remember it. After the first week or so you won’t need to write it down.
Have an organizing system for your locker (textbooks, binders, notebooks, or by subject) so you don’t spend too much time searching for stuff. Any loose papers should get recycled or completed and returned to your teacher.
For your homework, do NOT leave it to the last minute. Do it either in time provided during class or after school, then put it in a homework folder to turn in. (Textbooks are NOT homework folders!) Carry your homework folder with you from class to class, so you don’t forget to put anything in it.
Don’t bug the 8th graders, they find sixth graders highly annoying. But 7th graders are usually nice. Also since your in 6th grade you’ll usually do ice breakers. Arrive late (but not too late!) to lunch so you can pick a group of nice looking people to sit with. Also get involved in a club/activity, they’re a great way to get to know others.
Just Show up, Pay attention, Do your work, and Behave, and I guarentee you will pass.
As for fashion and makeup, jeans are always great to have, and get a couple pairs of shorts and skirts for variety. Another good bottom would be Adidas Black athletic pants. For shoes, tennis shoes, flip flops, boots, are all you really need. For tops get graphic tees (Abercrombie, Aero, and Hollister are trendy right now) and longsleeved shirts, and hoodies. Also invest in a good bag where you can keep your school ID (if you have one) money, makeup for touch ups, feminine products and other things you might need to carry around. And for makeup, don’t cake it on. Cover up, lipgloss, a little eyeliner, and mascara is all you really need. Good luck!
