Its great but it’s not considerably of a prom dress……..
EDIT: I didn’t mean it needed to be shiny and stuff. It just doesnt appear very prom-dressy…. it just seems like an everyday dress and given that its semi-formal, you want one thing a step up from what you generally put on (even if that isn’t). And do not you love that they have all adults for the modeling lol

Sorry for asking this so many times, but I am nevertheless genuinely unsure.

My principal concern is that while most folks have told me to go with a grey smoky eye, it’ll nonetheless appear also dark in comparison to my dress, which is really light and feminine. Please tell me why the grey would be a excellent concept, or, if you don’t consider it will be, why the other two or an additional look would be greater.

I consider you need to attempt something in a dark brown/coppery color for makeup. I don’t know why but the other tutorials looks didn’t seem to fit the dress as nicely (which is genuinely cute btw). And considering that a lot of other people are going for smokey eyes, possibly better to try a thing else.
Can’t tell but is the dress like a pale pinkish shade or kinda brown?

Okay nicely first of all, your dress and you are gorgeous and the hairstyle will go perfectly with the dress and you. The smokey search is a excellent idea due to the fact you don’t want to be also vibrant and take the consideration away from dress. You have really rather eyes as nicely and smokey eyes constantly makes eyes appear ten occasions much better so you’d have even prettier eyes. hmmm perhaps not gray smokey eye thats for dramatic dresses. your right it is femine. so do pink like not bright pink but a darkish pink. and then for the crease/corner do like a magnetaish. and black mascara and… i gusse black eyeliner D hope i helped

i would go with the smokey eye… with mainly greys.
i realize what you mean about it looking too dark in comparison to the dress… but just attempt not to do much black, go with shades of grey (trust me it will make a distinction).
any other eye color with the dress isnt going to go, becuase your dress is a pink, and pink eyeshadow is not truly a very good thought
plus prom is at evening… dark makeup wont search so dark at night. it will look just right.

i disagree with grey smokey eye..i’d rather have pink glittery eye-shadow, or if you want a darker shade, go for maroon, or magenta, or purple, or the mix of three..
you are nonetheless young i suppose..smokey eye will make you search older..

ha but annyway, i believe that is you do go with a grey smokey eye, you would almost certainly want it to be a ver light grey.

i consider grey is extremely plain, but i dont know your character so i dont know if you like brighter colours but if it were me i would do a color that tends to make eyes pop, or your dress.

i like video 2 with the pink eyeshadow very best, followed by video 3 if you want a heavier, a lot more dramatic search, even though i would recommend not utilizing the bronze eyeliner, just the black. i do not believe the purple/silver combo (video 1) would search very good with your dress and i feel movies 1 and four have the makeup “winged out” too much. video 4 just uses waaaayyy also a lot makeup altogether.
i’m sure you are going to appear excellent even so you decide on to do your makeup…have exciting!

I couldn’t resist the opportunity to work on Strobist, Portrait, and On-Location abilities.
Shot in our living area (economical transportable studio) with my speedlights and a black sheet backdrop.
I have just lately been operating difficult on skin retouching making use of the techniques illustrated in Jason Odell’s book The Photographer’s Manual to Capture NX2.
I have a long way to go with the camera and understanding more subtle skin techniques – BUT they are nonetheless far better than any point-n-shoot-ugly-flash-redeye-harshly-lit effort that I could have put forth prior to obtaining Strobist and the magic of CLS/AWL!

SB-800 (just to correct) shot via a tiny softbox.
SB-600 (camera left about 60 degrees) shot into a 43" umbrella for fill.
SB-600 gelled red and fired by means of "koozie snoot" for red backdrop.
Fired through Nikon D300 popup commander (set to "–")
Lots of experimentation going on – each although shooting and in PP utilizing Capture NX2.

I really like it. I wouldn’t wear it to my prom but anywhere else it would be great. That is just me though, people are different so if you like it then wear it.

Sorry, I’m a guy and when I ask a girl to the prom, I am expecting her to be the prize on my arm. I’m hoping every guy at the prom is wishing he was with the girl that I’m with. I’d hope that the girl that I’m with would be trying to make every guy wish she was with him too. If I picked a girl up in a dress like that I would have wished I’d left her at home and asked another girl out. Do yourself a favor get something black low cut in the back and wear heels. You might not want to over dress, but I promise you the guy your with will definitely appreciate it if you do over dress. You would definitely feel worse if you feel like you were undressed for the occasion than over dressed. If your underdressing cause your not into the guy as much and your afraid it will send the wrong signal. That’s what your mouth is for to straigthen him out, your dress is for the guy you want impress reguardless if it the guy your with or not.

I went to by boyfriend’s prom last year, and I was like “wtf, did a satin factory explode?” So for my prom, I want to get a more laid back dress too. that is so not a prom dress. That more of like going to the beach or like neighborhood barbecue. You should at least enjoy getting dressed up. i personally love getting dressed up and went like all out for my 6th grade banquet. cheerleading banquets and conformation. Most prom dresses are that shiny type of fabric so you should try a little harder to find another dress. try a dress like these which are not shiny.
