Question–: Where can my wife get a free or cheap makeover (makeup, hair, and clothes) or find free online advice?
My wife wants to try a new look but she wants a professional’s opinion (mine isn’t enough). Where in Michigan, more specifically Detroit area, can she go to get a makeover like you see on T.V. where they do your makeup/hair and help you pick out new clothes for your new look??? Are there any websites that have really good advice and/or great “before/after” pictures so she can get some ideas???
She’s a “no time for myself” mom that just wears baggy shirts with jeans, let’s her hair air dry without styling, no makeup with bushy eyebrows, never colors her hair, ect and she wants to look like a woman and be in style but she has no idea where to start… She refuses to read news stand magazines because they’re all fake and the clothing/styles are overpriced…

Question–: smoky eye makeup advice needed?
I really like the smoky eye look, but when I do it in black, it just seems so harsh, and it becomes a mess after a few hours.
So, I was wondering, for dark brown eyes, do you think the smoky look with dark green kohl would work? Gold eyeshadow (I’m tanned), then dark green all around the eyes?
Or is it too strange?

Q&A–: Can someone give me eye makeup advice?
First of all, can someone tell me if I have deep set eyes? I think I do, but I don’t know if that’s the correct description. Whenever I put on eyeliner (top or bottom, inner waterline or below waterline), I look like I just got out of a boxing match. When I open my eyes, you can’t even see my lid (refer to pic). What can I do – as far as applying eye makeup? Please help. Any advice welcome.
